Live at Brixton '87 is the fifth live album by the band Motörhead, recorded on 23 December , at the Brixton Academy in London, but wasn't released until 12 April It was released by Roadrunner Records under licence, but without the permission of the band, and as such has a controversial entry into the band's Heavy metal.

The original version is just named "Live at Brixton", whereas the re-release is named "Live at Brixton '87". Funny trivia: On the tray card of the CD, the band's name is mispelled as "Mötorhead". Recording information: Recorded on December 23rd, Identifiers: Barcode:

Remastered and expanded edition of this rare Live album. Combining classics from the band's early days 'Stay Clean', 'Metropolis', and of course 'Ace of Spades' with cuts from the band's then new album 'Dogs', 'Traitors' and 'Stone Deaf in the USA', Live at Brixton shows once again, that the Motor Machine is never more brutal than when it's in the live environment/5(20).

Dec 18,  · That’s why it’s one of the all-time great live records. Recorded on the Ace Of Spades tour, the original release comprised 11 of the band’s best performances, although Sanctuary subsequently issued a double CD of the whole set. For most fans this is the definitive Motörhead album.
